EKSG CHARGES HEALTH OFFICERS ON SERVICE DELIVERY

Medical Officers in Ekiti State have been urged to be dedicated and diligent in the discharged of their duties.

The Permanent Secretary, Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Tayo Olowookere, gave the charge during an induction course organized by the Board for newly health officers in Ado.

Dr. Olowookere advised the medical officers to live up to expectation to justify government’s investment in the health sector, adding that they should be good ambassadors of the government in their places of work.

The permanent Secretary urged them to always improve their knowledge of the global technological trends as things change day by day.

In his remarks, the Director of Medical Services, Hospitals Management Board, Dr. Johnson Akomolafe who delivered a lecture on the ethics of the health profession, advised them on capacity building, adding that they should make themselves accessible and available at work.
