EkitiState Governor, Engr. Segun Oni says
the essence of his recent one-week visit to the United Kingdom was to interact with
indigenes of the state resident in the European Country and to update them with
development in the state.
The Vice-Chancellor, University
of Education, Ikere-Ekiti (TUNEDIK), Professor Samuel Oye Bamidele has called
for effective supervision of both Teachers and students in the public secondary
schools to enhance educational standards. Prof. Bamidele made the call
during the induction workshop organized for the newly employed teachers of
public secondary schools in Ado.
Ekiti State Government has been
commended for lifting embargo on employment through the recruitment of four
thousand (4000) into State Civil Service.The Chairman, Teaching Service
Commission, Chief Kolawole Babalola gave the commendation during the opening ceremony
of an induction workshop for the newly employed Teachers in Ado.
The State Ministry of Health has
been commended for implementing programmes and policies that has improved the
health sector of the people
The Chairman of State House of
Assembly Committee on Health, Hon. Babatunde Ogunsuyi gave the commendation
during an interactive session with top officials of the Ministry at the State
Secretariat Complex in Ado.
