Ekiti State Government has taken
a major step towards the construction of the proposed Ado-Ekiti airport with
the inauguration of an 8-man committee on the implementation of the
project by Governor Segun Oni.

The Governor of Ekiti State, Engr. Segun Oni has described the demise of Nigeria's oldest writer, Timothy Mofolorunso Aluko as the fall of the grand oak in the forest of Nigeria's literary icons, saying his death was a great loss to the nation.
