Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Dr. Sikiru Tae Lawal on Saturday, 4th of July 2009 at Ado Ekiti Study Centre of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) matriculated as one of the students to study law in the institution.
The Ekiti State Government is
making concerted efforts to lease out the little Ose Dam in Gbonyin Local
Government Area to a privte company that would run and maintain at the Dam.

Oni, has said that his new cabinet would comprise of accomplished
individuals who have made their marks in their various fields of human
endeavour, adding that his government would make use of the best brains in the
State to achieve its set objectives.
