| EKITI STATE NEW DEPUTY GOVERNOR SWORN-IN - 07/10/05 The new Deputy Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Adebisi Omoyeni was sworn-in today, Friday, October 7th, 2005. The swearing-in ceremony was performed at the Archbishop Abiodun Adetiloye Banguet Hall, Trade Fair Complex, Ado Ekiti. The oath of allegiance was administered by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Olabisi Omoleye. Alongside with the Deputy Governor, two other newly appointed commissioners were sworn-in. They are Commissioner for Information, Culture, Sports and Social Development, Barr. Gboyega Oguntuase and Commissioner for Health, Dr. Olusegun Omowaye.In his speech, Governor Fayose congratulated the new executives and urged them to be faithful to the Government and the entire people of Ekiti State in order to bring progress and peace.In his response, the new Deputy Governor, Mr. Adebisi Omoyeni thanked the Governor and the entire people of Ekiti State. He expressed his gratitude to God for making his call to duty possible. He said that this would enable him to demonstrate his love for his state. He as well promised the Governor and the entire people of Ekiti State to be faithful and loyal to them throughout his tenure. | |||
