The State Government has restated
commitment to the development of Vocational and Technical Education to enhance
production of technical middle level manpower.
Ekiti State Commissioner for
Works and Infrastructure, Prince Tunji Olatunde has reiterated the commitment
of Engr. Segun Oni’s administration to ensure that the streets in the State
Capital are well lit at night.
Ekiti State Commissioner for Information and Civic
Orientation, Hon. Odunayo Ategbero and Special Adviser on Due Process, Dr. Bayo
Arowolaju, have commended the contractor handling the construction of the
23.7km. Of Ido-Ayetoro-Otun-Kwara State Boundary Road on a good job.
Ekiti
State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has urged contractors handling various
public building projects in the State to increase their pace, adding that the
March, 2009 deadline for the completion of the projects must be met.
A coalition of Non Governmental
Organisations in EkitiState, Movement for Peace and Good Governance in Ekiti (MOPEGO) has raised the alarm over
alleged plot by some disgruntled members of the Action
Congress (AC) in the State to disrupt the Local
Government elections scheduled for December 20.
