Ekiti State Governor, Engr Segun Oni has urged tertiary institutions in the
country to emulate the Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) by initiating
endowment funds and scholarship schemes for brilliant
students in their citadels of learning.

Oni has commissioned 40 18-seater Toyota Hiace buses purchased
under a Public/Private partnership with an Insurance Company for the three drivers
unions in the State with a pledge that his administration would
spare no efforts towards putting in place an efficient transportation
system in the state.
