Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has said that the State’s 2010 Appropriation bill was ready for presentation to the State House of Assembly.

Governor Oni who made this known during a chat with newsmen in Ado Ekiti said he was awaiting the date of the budget presentation from the leadership of the House.

The governor said that the policy thrust of the 2010 budget is the completion of all on-going projects in the state before the end of the year. He said priority would be given to the construction of the proposed airport, a multi-purpose stadium and provision of infrastructures in the new budget.

Oni noted that the turn around of the state which hitherto seemed an impossible task a few years ago is now in sight.

On-going projects nearing completion include the new House of Assembly Complex, 8 blocks   of office accommodation at the State Secretariat in Ado and 300kilometres of inter - township and inter - state roads.
