| ONI CONDOLES WITH OLUYIN OVER BROTHER’S DEATH |

Ekiti State Governor, Engr. Segun Oni has commiserated with the Oluyin of Iyin-Ekiti, Oba Justice Ademola Ajakaiye over the death of two indigenes of the town, Dr. Dele Ajakaiye and Dr. Adebayo Adebayo.
Governor Oni, who expressed
his grief over the death of Dr. Dele Ajakaiye, Oluyin’s younger brother
and Dr. Adebayo, son of the first Chief of Staff of the Nigerian Army
and former Governor of the old Western Region, General Adeyinka Adebayo
(Rtd.) through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Wale Ojo-Lanre urged the
monarch and the entire people of Iyin Ekiti to take solace in God.“Death of two prominent indigenes of a town within one week is a burden that will be too heavy for any monarch to bear and it is my prayer that God, who the only giver and taker of live will give our respected royal father and the entire people of Iyin Ekiti the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss. “It is my prayer that tragic incident like this will not be witnessed in Iyin Ekiti again and that God in His infinite mercies will console the Oluyin and the entire people of the town. “On behalf of my family, Government and people of Ekiti State, I express our heartfelt condolence for the loss of such amiable young men and wish our royal father, Oba Justice Ademola Ajakaiye and his subjects the continued support and guidance of the Almighty God,” Oni said. |
