OLUJIMI SPEAKS ON IMPORTANCE OF IGEDE-IWOROKO ROAD. PDF Print E-mail

Ekiti State Commissioner for Works, Chief (Mrs.) Abiodun Olujimi has declared that the completion of five Kilometers of Igede-Iworoko road would be beneficial to the people living in the area and its environs.

Mrs. Olujimi made the declaration while on an inspection of Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki and Igede-Iworoko roads to assess the level of work.

The Commissioner commended contractors for the quality of job but charged them to buckle up and use the advantage of the dry season to complete the project as scheduled.

Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki road, Jamal Ashim, said that in the next two weeks a bye – pass would be opened for traffic to enable the Company Concentrate on Construction work in the road.

He attributed the slow pace of work on the road to the heavy rainfall and promised that with the onset of the dry season, the road will be completed as scheduled.

He emphasized that the company would not renege his promise to deliver quality job as scheduled in specification of the job.
