A
few hours after the Elections Petitions Tribunal sitting in Ado-Ekiti,
Ekiti State capital upheld the election of the state governor, Engr.
Segun Oni, the Ekiti Justice and Equity Movement (EJEM) has hailed the
judgment, describing it as victory for Ekiti people.
EJEM,
in a statement signed by its General secretary, Comrade Ebenezer
Olaleye called on members of the Action Congress (AC) to join hands
with Governor Oni to move the state forward.
“This is the beginning of new things to come ion Ekiti and we commend the judges at the tribunal for being courageous enough to jettison propaganda and falsehood for truth and reality.
“The judgment was thorough, well researched and devoid of sentiments. We cannot but hail it,” EJEM said.
“By this judgment, those who are constantly putting Ekiti in the media for the most negative reasons should have a rethink and forge a common front for the development of the state.”
Congratulating Governor Oni for the victory, EJEM urged the governor to keep on with his good works in the state.
