EKSG REITERATES COMMITMENT TO INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT PDF Print E-mail

Ekiti State Government has reiterated its commitment to the provision of infrastructure and more dividends of democracy for the people of the State.

The Secretary to the State Government, Ambassador ‘Dare Bejide gave the assurance at Ilawe during a tour of on-going road and channelization projects in the town.

Ambassador Bejide said that the Ilawe-Erinjiyan-Aramoko road and the channelization work at Erinta-Oke-Ibedo quarters would be completed soon.

He added that the Ilawe-Ado and Ilawe-Igede-Iyin roads are to be dualized while all the Millennium Development Goals water points in the Local Government will be resuscitated to provide potable water supply to the people.

Ambassador Bejide therefore urged the people to reciprocate the gestures by supporting the present administration and pray for its success.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Ekiti South-West Local Government, Chief Olu Obisesan and a former Chairperson of the Local Government, Erelu Modupe Ogundipe expressed optimism that the on-going projects would enhance the economy of the people of the area.
