COMMISSIONER ASSURES ON SOLAR POWERED STREET LIGHTS PDF Print E-mail

Ekiti State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure, Prince Tunji Olatunde has reiterated the commitment of Engr. Segun Oni’s administration to ensure that the streets in the State Capital are well lit at night.

The Commissioner made the remark during an inspection of ongoing work on solar powered street lights in Ado.

He declared that the visit was to ascertain contractor’s preparedness for the job, as the Government would not tolerate delay from any contractor.

Prince Tunji Olatunde assured that the installation of solar powered street lights would also be extended to Ado-Iworoko-Ifaki dualised road on the completion of the road.

He said, as many contractors who deliver on time would be given more stands to erect.

The Managing Director Sun Power Solare, Engr. Ola Ilesanmi promised that this company in partnership with Meridiana Impianti of Italy to train 80 indigenes of Ekiti on packaging and installation of solar powered light within the next 4 years

He also promised that his company would deliver quality job in good time.
